Hi y’all!

On this blistery Sunday afternoon, the snow certainly has me thinking Christmas! Which is perfect because most of what you need to know this week has to do with Christmas … Halloween is over, and we are diving right in!

~ Christmas music will be distributed this week. Online students – your books are waiting for you with your names on them behind the desk at Skyline. Please pick these up ASAP! In – person students, I will be giving yours at your lesson. Parents, please be prepared to pay for them after your lesson this week 🙂

~ As mentioned last week, please put Saturday, December 12th on your calendar. Our annual Music Against Hunger Event will look a bit different this year … but is still happening and more important than ever. The Cleveland Food Bank has given out more food than expected amidst this pandemic! Using our music to help others is so important.

~ For last year’s Music Against Hunger, we did a duet project. I had every intention of doing it again this year (everyone learned so much!), until the pandemic hit. So instead of a duet project, I am encouraging everyone to learn more about Christmas music and traditions around the world. Many of you have fun Christmas traditions that you have brought here from other countries! It’s time to celebrate them! Online students – please print the bingo card here. For all students – the same link will give you lots of videos to complete this project 🙂

~ I am still posting composition videos on our studio Facebook page … I encourage you to check them out!

~ Finally, please remember that invoices are due by your lesson this week if not yet paid. Thank you!

See you in the studio,

McKenzie
