Happy New Year!
This is a friendly reminder that lessons pick back up starting Monday, January 4th š Despite the continuing uncertainty surrounding the pandemic, we have lots of fun things in store for the new year!
If you havenāt seen your personalized email containing last yearās student report and Januaryās invoice, make sure you check back in your email history. The subject line should read āEnd of Year Piano Review and Invoiceā.
I again want to reiterate how grateful I am for each and every student and family. You have made it possible for me to continue doing what I love, and I have been continuously amazed at how everyone was willing to be flexible in order to keep music alive in 2020. I think we are all better for it!
As I sat looking at my 2021 calendar, I knew that this year needed to be more about community and music making than any specific events we could conjure up. Each month, I will be sharing family challenges, fun listening, practice tips, and books to read in the hopes that we can foster a love of music together – both in the studio and in your home. I see each student for 30 minutes a week, and choosing to make music a family affair can bring a whole new level of excitement to your lesson experience!
To start out 2021, Iām sharing our first Family Challenge of the Month. Have fun, and let me know what you choose to watch š (Since I made this graphic, Soul has come out on Disney+⦠I have yet to see it, but this also counts as a fun music movie!)

Looking forward to the year ahead,
~McKenzie
