Hey y’all!
Sorry for the delay on this week’s update… the weekend got away from me quickly 🙂
Just four quick things for this week:
~ Our Spring Recital Date has been set! Mark your calendars for May 17th! There will again be a 2 and 4 o’clock option. More details to come in the months ahead 🙂
~ Looking to catch up on what’s been going on? Check out the student’s tab on the new website! https://pianopossibilities.org/students/
~ Our Composer of the Month is Handel. Check out this week’s listening! Because of Valentine’s Day activities, I don’t think I’ve been able to listen through it in a single lesson so far this week! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wHquxckrHPE&feature=emb_title
~ Our Practice Trick for the week is “Hands Separate”
“Sometimes it is helpful to practice one hand at a time. Choose a small section and work on that section first with right hand alone, then left hand alone, then hands together. Do each hand enough times to feel more confident and comfortable with it before you try it hands together.”

I think that’s all for this week!
Happy Practicing,
~McKenzie
