Happy April and Happy Easter!

Many of you are on Spring Break, and things will be picking up around the studio this month as well 😊

4 things to know this week –

  1. Invoices are due by this week’s lesson… thank you for your promptness with this!
  2. We will again be doing a video recital this spring. It will be similar to last year’s setup, and you will be able to share with family and friends. More and more people are getting vaccinated, but we are not yet ready to bring together groups of people for recitals at the store. I’m excited to again give an opportunity for performance though 🙂
  3. There have been many questions regarding cancellations and makeup policies (I realize none of us traveled for a year!). So I wanted to take a chance to remind you of the details. You pay for your time slot, whether or not you come for the lesson. I realize that vacations and sickness happen. Each student gets 2 free days for the entire year. In order to use these you must let me know about the cancellation 24 hours in advance and your intent to use a free day. Free days do not carry over into the next year. Of course, if I cancel a lesson you will not be held responsible. Makeups are not guaranteed and depend on others canceling and giving notice. My schedule is full, which makes advance notice important. Hopefully this helps clear up any questions.
  4. We are starting off this month with another Family Music Challenge

Grab your family and get ready to be creative 😊

See you in the studio,

McKenzie

P.S. Keep an eye out for more info about summer scheduling be coming soon. I’ve had some studio families ask about longer lessons, siblings, and friends taking lessons – I do have a waiting list, so if you’ve been considering this but haven’t said anything , I recommend you chat with me so that I can add you before the list gets longer 🙂
