April 10, 2021

Hello All,

It’s time to talk about April’s Book of the Month 😊 This gem just came out fall of 2020, and it one of the most visually appealing and comprehensive books I have seen about music. It covers everything from music history, world music, different musical styles, animals and music, the science of music, how music is produced, and more!

You may begin to see this one around the studio … but it would be a great addition to your family library as well! I enjoyed the book and learned things I didn’t know – it’s important that we all take the time to learn new things. Check out the sneak peek below 😊

You can purchase this book at Skyline.

In case you missed it, I mentioned that we will be doing another video recital again this spring. I was busy teaching and forgot to mention it to almost everyone, so I wanted to bring it up again here 😊 There will be a few changes… but for now, just be prepared to share your music! Everyone has been working so hard and deserves a chance to show off their efforts.

Finally – and very importantly – I am beginning to look at summer scheduling. If you could please shoot me a text or quickly reply to this email to let me know when school ends for you, I’d really appreciate it! More details to come on what things will look like moving into summer.

Looking forward to seeing you all this week… Remember that you can catch up with the latest studio news via these newsletters (pianopossibilities.org – for students tab), Facebook – @mckenziespianostudio, and through the store’s Facebook page – @skylinemusic.

Happy Reading,

~McKenzie
